On April 18, President Yang Zongkai of the Wuhan University of Technology in China called on Vice President TAMAKI Hisashi, the director of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships.

The meeting was attended by Zhang Lianmeng, Han Jianjun, Li Xiaobin, Wu Chaoqun, Shen Qiang, Tu Rong, Zhao Jinping, and Xiang Fan from the Wuhan University of Technology, as well as NAKAZAWA Minato (professor at the Graduate School of Health Sciences and director of the Asia & Oceania Division of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships) and HU Yunfang (professor at the Graduate School of Economics and director of the Beijing Office) from Kobe University.

During the meeting, Yang explained the overview and characteristics of the Wuhan University of Technology and expressed his hope for the strengthening of the long-term relationship between the two universities. In response, Tamaki gave an introduction to Kobe University, including an overview of the Graduate School of System Informatics, which currently has a student exchange agreement with the Wuhan University of Technology. He also expressed his hope for the development of various forms of student exchange, such as short-term programs and exchange programs.

This visit is expected to further deepen exchanges between the two universities in the future.
